Katy Ballglove Revival was initially started by me, Blake, to have something to do during all that downtime at the ballpark during my son's travel baseball tournaments.  

My son's and my gloves were the first ones I did, and then I moved onto thrift store gloves before finally being brave enough to accept customers.

Relacing gloves is somehow therapeutic and relaxing for me, and I also like taking something that was bound for the trash, and giving it a second life.  I also like that baseball has embraced adding some cool contrasting colors to gear.  It keeps the relacing process interesting when I get to choose and/or work with a customer to create something unique.

When the opportunity to add a line of custom-configured gloves to my business appeared, I jumped at the chance.  How cool is it to get to customize everything on a glove down to the stitching color instead of just a little color pop with the laces!?  The name was my wife's creation, and if you're wondering why the wrist logo seems have an F hiding inside the B...it does.  Those are my daughter's initials.
